Terms of Service

Version 1.1 · Effective August 25, 2026

Terms of Service Acceptable Use Privacy Policy

On this page

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and TCom Designs LLC, a Virginia limited liability company doing business as WeeklyBurn ("WeeklyBurn", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the WeeklyBurn website, application, and services (together, the "Service").

By checking the box at sign-up, or by using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to our Acceptable Use Policy, and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    1. What WeeklyBurn does

WeeklyBurn connects to a fantasy sports league you already have on a third-party platform and uses artificial intelligence to generate comedic written recaps of that league's activity. The recaps are deliberately irreverent and are intended as humor and entertainment among people who know each other.

    2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

If you connect a league, you are making a representation about other people. You confirm that every member of that league is at least 18 years old and has agreed to receive and be described in this kind of content. You are responsible for that representation being true.

    3. Your account

You sign in with an email address using a one-time link. Keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. One account per person. Tell us at contact@weeklyburn.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

    4. AI-generated content

This section is important. Please read it.

We do not own or control the AI models

Recaps are produced using large language models operated by third parties. We do not own, build, train, or control those models. Their behavior can change without notice, and we cannot guarantee any particular output, style, availability, or level of quality.

    Output is humor, not fact

Recaps are automatically generated works of comedic exaggeration. They are not statements of fact, journalism, reporting, or opinion held by WeeklyBurn about any person. Statements in a recap about any individual, including insults, accusations, characterizations, and invented detail, are satire produced by software and should not be understood or repeated as factual claims.

Output may be wrong or offensive

AI output can be inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or offensive despite the filters we apply. We do not review recaps before they are generated. You must not rely on any recap for any purpose beyond entertainment.

    You supply the personal detail

The Service lets you and your leaguemates write notes about league members, which are used to personalize recaps. What you write drives what the AI produces. You are responsible for the information you supply about other people and for any consequences of supplying it. See the Acceptable Use Policy for what may not be entered.

    5. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit, including league notes. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content, and to send it to our AI providers, solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit what you submit, and that doing so does not violate anyone's rights or any law.

    6. Sharing recaps

If you share a recap, you are the publisher of it. The Service can create a public link to a recap. Anyone with that link can read it without signing in. Deciding to share that link, or to post a recap anywhere else, is your decision and your responsibility, not ours.

    7. Text messages

WeeklyBurn Recap Alerts is optional. If you choose to turn it on, we send a text to the number you provide when a recap for your league is ready. The message contains a short line and a link to the recap. It does not contain the recap itself.

How you opt in. One league admin enters a mobile number in the app, ticks a box confirming they agree to receive these messages, and then enters a code we text to that number. We only store a number after that code is confirmed, so we never send messages to a number whose owner has not confirmed it. Consent is never a condition of buying anything or of using the Service.

Frequency. Up to 2 messages per week during your league's season. There is one number per league, not one per member.

Cost. We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or clear the number in your league settings. Reply HELP for help, or email contact@weeklyburn.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Phone numbers collected for this purpose are used only to send these messages. We do not sell them and we do not share them for anyone else's marketing. See the Privacy Policy.

    8. Paid plans and refunds

Some features require a paid League Pass, purchased for a specific league and season. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Prices are shown before purchase and are in US dollars.

A League Pass is sold two ways, and you choose which one at checkout:

    • Monthly. A recurring subscription. It renews automatically and is charged every month until you cancel it or until the season ends, whichever comes first.
    • Season. A single charge covering the season shown at checkout. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

The monthly plan only bills during the season. When you subscribe, we schedule the subscription to stop after the season you bought it for, so it ends on its own without you having to remember. We do not bill through the offseason. If we ever offer an offseason plan, it will be something you choose, not something that happens to you.

Cancelling a monthly plan. Any admin of the league can cancel it at any time from the league's settings page. Cancelling stops future charges. It does not cut access off immediately — the league keeps its paid features until the end of the period already paid for. Because a League Pass covers the whole league, cancelling removes those features for every member of that league once that period ends. Any admin can start a new plan before then to keep it running without a gap.

If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following few days. If it still does not go through, the League Pass ends when the period already paid for runs out. We will tell the league's admins, so that somebody has the chance to take over billing first.

Refunds. Because the Service delivers generated content immediately, payments are generally non-refundable, and cancelling does not refund a month already in progress. If something goes wrong, email contact@weeklyburn.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review it in good faith. Nothing here limits any refund right you have under applicable law.

A League Pass covers the whole league, not one person. Whoever pays for it, every member of that league gets the paid features for that season.

    9. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. Breaking it is a breach of these Terms.

    10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@weeklyburn.com. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or disable a public link at any time if we believe there has been a breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if we are required to, or to protect the Service or other people. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

    11. Third-party platforms

WeeklyBurn is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, the National Football League, or any other platform or league. Their names and marks belong to their owners. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. If a platform changes or removes access to its data, features of the Service may stop working, and that is outside our control.

    12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty about the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of AI-generated output. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

    13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCom Designs LLC and its owners, members, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or emotional distress, arising out of or relating to the Service or any content generated through it, whether based on contract, tort, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

    14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TCom Designs LLC and its owners, members, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to content you submitted, a recap you shared or published, a league you connected, your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any law or of anyone's rights.

    15. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will raise the version number and ask you to accept the updated Terms the next time you sign in. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

    16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here prevents either of us from bringing a claim in an appropriate small claims court.

    17. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
