Terms of Service Acceptable Use Privacy Policy

On this page

This policy explains what TCom Designs LLC, doing business as WeeklyBurn, collects when you use the Service, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

    1. What we collect

    Information you give us

    • Email address, used to create your account and sign you in
    • League notes you write about members of your league, used to personalize recaps
    • A phone number, only if you choose to receive recap notifications by text. We store it only after you confirm a code we text to it, and we use it only to send those notifications — never for anyone else's marketing, and we do not sell it. See Text messages in the Terms for what we send and how to stop it. This commitment applies to phone numbers specifically; see Who we share it with for how we treat other information
    • A Discord webhook URL, only if you choose to have recaps posted to a Discord server
    • Support messages you send us, including any diagnostic detail attached to them

    Information from your fantasy platform

When you connect a league, we read league data from Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo: league and team names, member display names, rosters, scores, matchups, standings, transactions, and draft results. For ESPN and Yahoo we also store the credentials or tokens needed to keep reading that data. ESPN credentials are encrypted before storage. We never see or store your password for Sleeper, which does not require one to read public league data.

    Information collected automatically

    • Usage data, such as which recaps were generated and when, used for limits, billing, and product decisions
    • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and error diagnostics, used for security, rate limiting, and debugging
    • Policy acceptance records, including the version you accepted, the time, and the IP address it came from, kept as a record of agreement

    2. Note on other people's information

League notes are information about other people, written by you. When you enter them, you are responsible for having the right to do so, and for keeping to the limits in our Acceptable Use Policy. Anyone described in WeeklyBurn can email contact@weeklyburn.com to ask what is held about them and to have it removed, whether or not they have an account.

    3. Why we use it

    • To operate the Service, generate recaps, and deliver them to you
    • To authenticate you and keep accounts secure
    • To process payments and apply plan limits
    • To send notifications you asked for
    • To diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and improve quality
    • To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We may share information with business partners, including for their marketing, and we may receive payment for doing so. Mobile phone numbers are excluded from this — see below. Where the law gives you the right to opt out of that sharing, you can exercise it by emailing contact@weeklyburn.com, and we will honour it.

    4. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

    • Supabase — database and authentication
    • Railway and Netlify — application and website hosting
    • xAI — the AI model that writes recaps in production
    • Anthropic — an alternate AI model provider, used as a fallback
    • OpenAI — text-to-speech, only when you generate recap audio
    • Stripe — payment processing. We never receive or store your card details
    • Resend — sending email
    • Twilio — sending text messages, only if you enable them
    • Sentry — error monitoring
    • Google Analytics — aggregate traffic measurement on our marketing site
    • Discord — only if you configure a webhook, and only the recap content you asked to be posted

What goes to the AI providers

To generate a recap we send league data and the league notes you have written. We do not send your email address, phone number, or payment information. These providers process it to return a recap.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WeeklyBurn, our users, or the public. If the business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Mobile phone numbers and text messages

We do not sell mobile phone numbers, and we do not share them with anyone else for their marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. A number you give us is used only to send the recap notifications you asked for, through Twilio, who deliver them on our behalf and for no other purpose.

You only receive these messages if you enter a number and tick the consent box in your league's settings, and then confirm the number with a code we text you. Frequency is up to 2 messages per week during your league's season. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. See the Terms for the full description of what we send.

    5. How long we keep it

We keep account information, recaps, and league notes for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information and your league notes within 30 days, except where we must keep something for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons, such as records of payments and of policy acceptance. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Recaps you have shared publicly may outlive your account. A public recap link can be copied, forwarded, screenshotted, or cached by third parties. We can disable the link on our side, but we cannot retrieve copies other people already have.

    6. Your choices

    • Access or delete. Email contact@weeklyburn.com to request a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted
    • Notifications. Turn email or text notifications off in settings, or reply STOP to any text
    • Disconnect a league. Removing a league removes its stored credentials and data
    • Analytics. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics; browser do-not-track and analytics-blocking extensions are respected by that tool's own opt-out

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We apply the choices above to everyone regardless of location. Contact us and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

    7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. ESPN credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to run the Service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users as required by law if a breach occurs.

    8. Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email contact@weeklyburn.com and we will delete it.

    9. International users

We operate in the United States, and the providers listed above may process information in the United States and elsewhere. By using the Service you understand your information will be processed in the United States.

    10. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will raise the version number and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.

    11. Contact

The data controller is TCom Designs LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. Tyler Comstock, owner of TCom Designs LLC, is the contact for privacy requests.
